On a PodWarp/Quark Comics-related note, Ben Paddon will be ending Jump Leads soon, and has a new comic called Deadlong that started recently, about a young farmhand who died and wound up in Limbo, and sets out to confront the gods about it, reluctantly accompanied by an imp named Pooka.

After drawing the original version of today’s strip, I had the feeling that I had used the joke before. That wouldn’t exactly be a first, but in this case it wasn’t so much “I’ve done a variation on this” as “I’ve done this word for word!” – I couldn’t find it through Oh No Robot, so it must not be a strip that’s transcribed, and I wasn’t about to go through the archives and look for it (though you’re certainly welcome to!), so I changed the last panel slightly instead. If you want to see the original version, it’s up as today’s new voting bonus at TopWebcomics!
Freddy the Space Narwhal didn’t get as much of an appearance in today’s strip as he did in previous years – so to make up for that, there’s a top secret picture of Freddy the Space Narwhal’s spaceship to see when you vote for Station V3 today at TopWebcomics!
It’s been a pretty busy month for me – not so much here, though V3 has still updated every day, but with work, life in general, etc. Which is why I haven’t been saying much here on the blog.
